You were told No good bacteria, that is your problem right there in my opinion, and the fact your stomach acid is probably low too.
You are going the right way with the Kefir. You also need prebiotics to feed the good bacteria you are putting in. Hv suggests Rice and/or oat bran. Do you use any complex carbs? You need to have proper hcl production. i.e stomach acid to assimilate nutrients from your food. We think we are eating healthily but if nothing is getting assimilated properly! everything starts with digestion.
Hv always suggests bitters taken 20 mins before a meal. It stimilates the liver to produce bile to help digestion. Also a sublingual B12, Folic acid, B6 combo. Zinc 50mg before biggest meal of day, selenium, and B vits. Some vit k is made in the digestive tract and as we get older we lose ability to absorb vit B12, which is needed to make stomach acid, hence we can't absorb it so can't make stomach acid so can't absorb nutrients properly, so it goes round.
So a sublingual B12 by passes this and helps make stomach acid, so helps absorb all nutrients.

I started to get Roscea, but since increasing my stomach acid and good bacteria i don't get it now. I personally think it is a nutrient deficiency, especially vit k.
So it is amazing what can be helped by getting your digestion working optimally. Eating healthily is useless otherwise.
