Re: Oil industry's answers frustrate federal panel
Personally, I would like to see them
all tossed into lock-down or lock-up
until they remember something.
Hmmm...I think Guantanamo is still
open and accepting reservations...
(just kidding). I would be much
more aggressive with this bunch
than the current administration has
been, and I would televise the
hearings more...C-Span or CNN could
use the ratings. We all deserve the
answers to what is really going on
and to stand up and say we are not
going to accept lies for breakfast,
lunch and dinner, anymore~!
BP has done irreparable damage to
the Gulf, and perhaps the Gulf
Stream, as well, generations of
people who will remain on the Gulf.
Their lawyers have distilled this
issue down to liability and dollars.
It is much, much, more.
Meanwhile, "they" would have us believe
its over and a done deal; collect
your things and move on with your
lives. I think this disaster has also
shown Obama for who he is, and is not.
I believe we have seen the media also
roll over, in many cases, and act as
a lapdog waiting for a belly rub. It
is all senseless and in due time even
the apologies and mea culpas will ring
hollow...
I hope in the end, there will be
repercussions that include time behind
bars and astronomical fines. I believe
that is what it will take to make the
men who make these choices consider
others besides themselves and the
board members they answer to.
