Re: Mainstream Medicine and liver stones...
hmmm... they don't. if you were to say to an MD you have stones in your biliary duct, they wouldn't believe you. the only time they see them is when they are calcified. the fact that MD's don't believe they exist goes a long way towards explaining why they think the
Liver Flushes are a bunch 'a hooey. (that's when they even think about it that much). you telling them that you've seen little green semi-soft balls coming out after drinking some olive oil would be like telling them that you see little green men at sunset every other tuesday.
i think that people in general, not just doctors, dismiss what doesn't fit into their ideology...
Liver Flushes have 2 hits against them... 1) there are no stones in the liver and 2) holistic regimens are not prescription drugs, and are therefore suspect. most doctors don't believe things that they cannot prove with any tests, and uncalcified stones fall into that category. If you've read some notes from Hanna, that is The Perfect Example. Her GB wall was 42 mm (3mm is normal)... and although the doctors believed that her GB was enlarged - cuz they saw it on ultra sound - they never questioned WHY the gb wall was so inflamed. Since they didn't ask Why, they also didn't find out the answer!
