A fair price per gram is a nickel. 5 cents / gram.

Calculated as follows....
1500mg-per pill x 120-pills = 180000
180000 / 1000 = 180 grams
8.99 / 180 = 0.0499 cents per pill
SHIPPING can be the devil. Buy more after you find a good brand if it saves you on shipping. Adding $5 for shipping can change it all ---- 5 + 8.99 = 13.99 13.99 /180 = .077 cents per pill. Buy local no shipping!

I buy 1000 at a time from msm-msm.com for $51.00
PLUS shipping 7.50 58.50 /1000 = 0.0585 per pill.
Comparing .077 to .0585 - you are saving 30% .

By the Pound it is only 2.5 cents per gram. Which I use for lotions.

There are two major MSM brands - Optimsm(my hometown brand), Lignisul -these both came out of the Jacobs & Lawrence team that really developed DMSO - the precoursor to the MSM booom.

Other companies can make it as well I am sure but these two are fighting each other for the highest purity ratings at the best cost.
