Liver Flushing for the Immune Compromised
I'm posting this for anyone who is immune compromised and wants to liver flush. Because I am currently very sick with Lyme disease, I found that there were some things that didn't work with the standard flush and I made some changes that seemed to make all the difference.
1. What *didn't* work for me was having food of any sort on the day of the flush, even if I stopped eating before 2 pm. I think the reason for this is that being immune compromised means the body does not produce as much bile as it normally does and therefore not enough to push the stones through. When I did this I got virtually no stones out. However, when I ate absolutley nothing the day of the flush but did have some water, I had the second most amazing flush I think I've ever had.
2. I know Andreas says to get a
colonic or do a colema after the flush to remove any blocked stones. Before, I didn't do this because of cost and laziness and thinking that there couldn't be *that* many stones still stuck up there.
Well. Boy was I wrong. This time around I went for a
colonic the day after the flush and OH MY. There were literally HUNDREDS more stones still up there that came out. Big ones (2 cm), little ones, green ones, yellow ones, round ones, chaff . . . I was just gaping watching them go by. Counting the teeny tiny stones put this number in the thousands. And this is *after* I already passed hundreds of stones that morning.
In the past I had done a colema myself after a flush and gotten a few more stones out but nothing that would compare to the avalanche of stones that came out after this one. And I've done somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 flushes. Now I am sold.
So, in conclusion, doing regular flushes and eating before 2 pm got no stones out of me being sick. NOT eating (but being well hydrated) the day of the flush got amazing results, as did getting the
colonic the next day.
Now, this may not be true for everyone. Everyone is different and going through different things, but if you're sick and stuck and not getting stones out it might be worth a shot.
As a side note, when I went to do my flush I realized that all we had was the Safeway generic brand poor quality *not* cold pressed olive oil. I was worried about using this, but it sure seemed to do just fine.
I know that Andreas says that these flushes are not good for people who are sick, but I found that making these changes really helped me and it seemed to allow me to produce enough bile for it to work.
Another thing that occurs to me is that I am also taking supplementation with malic acid, and have been taking this for a few weeks so that may have also contibuted to the overwhelming success of this flush.
I am very happy because I have had 3 lousy flushes while being sick, and now something is finally working.
Blessings,
Alison
