BP sued over dispersant used on spill

Like Tony, I live down south and have
returned home from a month and a week
trip up north to Arkansas. We have some
"old" cactus that have been healthy and
hardy. They look diseased and mottled.
I will endeavor to remember to snap a
photo tomorrow. Anyway, my wonder and
concern lie with the question of, if
disperants and oil can affect plants,
what is it doing to us. We find ourselves
part of an experiment. BP is shaking this
off like a bad case of the ebbie jeebies
though, and the government in the White
House is sharing the same bed, if you know
what I mean. ;|

Here is an example of people suing for
the dispersants. In lieu of tarballs and
feathers, we must use the courts to state
our rights and demands. BP wants to drill
right into that same area again. My vote
is NO. Show me both sites, by an independent
party/ies.

NO testing has been done, on the record
for BP either, of the health effects of
Corexit and the other dispersants being
used by BP and its contractors. I think
it is time to ask again and more power
fully that testing be done to determine
the hazards of this proprietary blend
of chemicals.

I also feel very strongly about demanding
that Corexit use be stopped. Wait a week
and then we will see where the oil is.
