But why do you suspect Strongys? There are other bugs that can cause what you described, like liver flukes.

I seem to actually be breeding the little BUGers! Strongyloids, that is...

When in Mexico a couple years ago, I wondered why a bug would bite me on the sole of my foot. Now I know!

From what I understand, the only 2 parasites that do this are Strongys and hookworms but still need to confirm that.

I feel them enter the sole of my feet, then over days they work themselves up my leg, getting bigger as they go.

I now wear flip flops in the shower and put all my footwear out to cook in the sun. When I feel one that has gotten into my foot, I rub in Icy Hot cream a few times a day. Especially around my ankles because there is very little flesh there for them to hide in. It works!
