I have the same problem with yellow stains. oddly enough, just this week I picked up one of my shirts that smelled funny and looked at the underarm parts. the shirt is blue and the stain on the underarms is dark, almost black. I guess this is due to the color of the shirt because none of my lighter colored shirts have dark stains. I have noticed a metalic smell lately and have been wondering why.
