Natural Bug Spray (TESTIMONIAL)

My daughter's supervisor at work asked her if she had a natural product she could recommend to SAVE him from the horseflies and other bugs that were attacking him when he was feeding and caring for his animals. He said he had been spraying himself with heavy doses of commercial bug repellants and was still being 'eaten alive'.

She asked me what I could offer. I had just found the information below on Dr. Schulze 's web site. I told her I would make a 'formula' using what I had on hand.

I had my essential oils and had some garlic tincture I had made. I also had Neem Tree Oil, so I felt I could 'create' a bug spray.

I used 15 drops of each of these essential oils: Eucalyptus, Cedarwood, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Lemon, Tea Tree and Peppermint. I did not have the Citronella, Catnip or Cinnamon Bark oils listed for Dr. Schulze 's formula. But, I thought... Dr. Schulze says to use what you have.

I used 6 droppers of garlic tincture and a half-teaspoon of Neem Tree Oil.
I put everything into a 4 oz. mist spray bottle and added distilled water to fill the bottle.

The supervisor's testimonial:
I went out to tend to my animals and was immediately attacked by biting flies. I sprayed myself on all exposed skin. That was the end of the attack and was not bothered AT ALL the rest of the evening! He says he will not venture outdoors again without his secret weapon -- the natural bug block!
