Regarding Protein, Juicing, and Healing

Protein, Juicing, Gerson
From above - juicing around 80-100 oz daily (the Gerson protocol) is estimated to provide 60 grams of plant based protein daily (which you can see by reading the information above, is a conservative estimate). How much is assimilated? Virtually all of it (compared to getting protein from meat or dairy, which is much more difficult to break down/assimilate). We're typically/traditionally taught that we require 1 gram of protein for every kilogram (2.2 pounds) of body weight. 150 pounds is 68.18 kilograms - so an average person is said to require 68 grams of protein daily. SO, if you weight 150 pounds and are juicing 128 oz daily (Schulzes recommendation) AND getting protein from the nutritional yeast in the Superfood you actually meet or exceed the traditional/typical protein recommendations...with nothing more than adequate juices and Superood. Of course you can supplement that with more nutritional yeast (approximately 8 grams for 4T of yeast)...and by juicing sprouts (mung beans are cheap, ultra easy to sprout, and provide an AMAZING 15 grams of protein per pound).
Here is some 'natural healing common sense' from me:
Our nearest 'relatives' biologically/physiologically in nature are the great apes (highland gorillas) & chimpanzees. Many say these chimps & apes are 100% vegetarian, this is not true.
Their diet? Fruits, flowers, leaves, various vegetation, seeds, bark, bugs...and very occasionally (if they kill another animal) the chimps usally break the bones for the marrow. Eggs? when they can get them (seriously, how many eggs 'per monkey' can a group of roaming monkeys 'score' per day? lol) Even more rarely the chimps have been known to eat muscle tissue. Chimpanzees ingest the most 'animal matter', on the average it's estimated that perhaps 5% of their diet is made up of bugs (and the occasional eggs or bone marrow/meat) - the great apes ingest even less (mostly bugs). Hmmm, 'ever see an image of a great ape or chimpanzee in the wild that looked scrawny, sickly or like it was starving for protein? Or one of equal weight to you that you'd want to fight or try to out run? Of course not - they're strong, lean, "tight" and their muscles are fully developed (and they could likely kick ANY humans butt!) Yet virtually every bit of protein they ingest is from vegetation!
Once again folks, we've been SERIOUSLY duped on the protein issue! And we just have to recognize that one of the BIGGEST obstacles we have is not just 'learning more', it's UNlearning what we think we're sure is true.
Here's another opportunity to UNlearn what we've been erroneously taught and replace it with valid, beneficial healing truths!
