*!* WOOHOO - GOOD JOB!! Re: I discovered....
In my last few days here juicing, I have noticed that I feel sooo much better. Not 100 percent but better. Also I sleep better. Yesterday I fasted part of the day and I felt AWESOME! That's FANTASTIC! Progress IS a process...we can't go from 0 to 100 without hitting some of the various number in between :)
Saturday, I decided to have some cottage cheese with my lunch. Thought a little protien would be good. Ahhh, perhaps you'd forgotten about the protein you're getting from the juices ??? And how our requirements for protein are MUCH less than what we've been led to believe (especially when in 'healing mode'). Of course, an extreme lack of anything for a long time IS detrimental, but always keep in the back of your mind that there have been zillions of people throughout history that have cured themselves with water fasting...and empirical evidence IS valid evidence. Within a few bites, by stomach hurt and I was nauseated. Within a half hour, I was sick and foggy, and gross, and it lasted through the evening, and that night sleep was horrible. I'm so sorry you experienced that :( But it's good that your 'doctor within' made it clear that right now you're body does NOT want 'all or part' of what's in the cottage cheese. The first step is always to "stop doing what makes us sick"...and many times what we need to stop isn't obvious.
I'm assuming it was pasteurized, and of course, that's just spoonfulls of dead-yuck for our bodies to process, We assimilate very little from 'dead dairy'...and what we do assimilate, our body had to work extremely hard to break down and "enzyme-ize". Do you know what happens if you give a calf pasteurized milk? Yeah, it sickens and dies :(
Yesterday I fasted half the day and then ate no dairy. Juiced and added a little egg protien and coconut milk for fat. I felt WONDERFUL! WOOHOO! No one knows better than our 'doctor within'...yet we have to learn and UNlearn quite a lot to be able to correctly interpret the signals sometimes.
I have a dairy allergy. I have always had it. Had it bad when I was little, but it "went away" as I grew up. Well, maybe it never went away? Maybe this is why I have gotten so sick? A dairy allergy (to raw milk) is typically*** a symptom of something else being wrong. An allergy to pastuerized dairy is a natural reaction to an unnatural substance. Generally speaking an allergy is not a 'cause', it's a symptom.
***Dairy Facts in the Natural World
--What percentage of animals (in their natural environment, not in some type of 'crisis') will suckle or drink the milk from another species, no matter how similar the species. ZERO It's actually intrinsically repulsive to imagine ourselves (or others) sucking milk from a cow or goat...or any other animal, even a closer species like a great ape or a baboon (and truly, very few people would ever ingest meat if they had to kill, bleed, gut & skin an animal)
--What percentage of animals in nature will allow their young to suckle after they've been weaned (generally, when their teeth come in)? ZERO again.
Yes, drinking milk & eating cheese has been ensconced in a large percentage of societies for centuries...but is it really normal and natural (and healthy?). If it is, it's only natural to one animal out of millions. Can it be beneficial? As a source to replenish gut microbiota when no other sources have the strains we need, fermented (kefir/yogurt etc, as to not be mucous forming) in small amounts...I believe, yes. In times of crisis to prevent starvation? yes Does milk contain substances we can't get from more natural, less stressful-to-the-body sources? None of which I'm aware.
Certainly Dr. Gerson, Christopher & Schulze were able to cure tens of thousands of people successfully from all manner of severe incurables diseases & syndromes, using absolutely no dairy (or meat).
Do I personally believe that every human on the planet can be healthy being a vegan? Absolutely. Do I personally believe that every human on the planet will adjust their lifestyle, spend the money it takes, and make the necessary diet-changes necessary to be healthy vegan? Absolutely not. But I am sure juicing and vegan eating is the fastest and most effective way to help our body restore itself to health.
Now I am looking back. Thursday I was at the doctors and I was vomitting all over the place and had to get two iv's because I got dehydrated. I was stranded there for nearly 5 hours because I couldn't drive. I was sooooo sick, foggy, and weak. What did I have for breakfast? A big glass of raw goats milk which I threw up at his office. I am seeing some dots come together. That may be causing my malabsorption! We all have LOT of dots, so keep connecting and coming up with puzzle pieces that fit together to yield a complete picture. Even though "science" is convinced (and conditioned themselves and most of us) that the human body can be treated 'one symptom or system at a time', they're totally wrong. There's not one system of the body that's not dependent upon another for proper functioning. Actual malabsorption (and that which appears to be malabsorption?) Whew, we start in the digestive tract and work our way outward, realizing there's really no organ that can't cause or 'throw the symptoms of' malabsorption. Always remembering, "If you hear the sound of beating hooves , don't start looking for zebras!"
I am cutting out dairy for good. Hopefully things go up from here. I think that's a VERY wise decision!
I am getting enough calcium juicing greens, right? Actually, it's not just greens that provide calcium, there are many fruits & veggies, here's a hint for one of the best:
