Since I've been homeschooling for 6 years, I can escape that part of it. But I hate to ruffle my Doctor's feathers. He's a good Dr. (for an allopathic Dr.) who's really tried to help me with my illness this past year. I realize he just doesn't have the tools I need or want. When my 3 yr. old had an allergic reaction to penicillin last Jan., he offered an Rx for steroids. I asked if the rash and itching would go away on their own, and he yes, and I said I would wait. He's learned that I ask questions when he offers an Rx for anything, and he respects that. But that's the path I'm on. I just need to have courage and keep walking.
