That is interesting. I wonder if enough attention has been paid to how to test people who have been taking more than the 50 mg used in the test. I read one report by Dr. Abraham where he tested a woman who had been taking 100 mg Iodoral, and he used 100 mg, not 50 mg, for the test, after she had not taken any iodine for 48 hours. I assume Dr. Hakala knew you'd been dosing higher than 50 mg? If the results can be off because of the supplemental dose being higher than the test dose, it seems a possible organification problem could be overlooked (the one where you need B2 and B3). If I understand correctly, an organification problem could result in more iodine being excreted than you took for the test. I re-read where you've already determined you do not have a transport problem with your sodium-iodide symporters.
