Hey neighbor
You are living in my old stomping grounds and almost my neighbor. I lived in Plano several years beginning back when I attended and graduated from high school there. I am only a little over an hour away - but surely far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the metroplex - and still get to Plano at least a couple of times a month.
We'll have to talk about your speaking plans. Maybe you could be a guest on my upcoming radio shows if that pans out, and perhaps in the seminars I will be doing too. If nothing else, you are dang sure going to have to come do some fishing (and/or watch me feed the fish in the ponds on my cousin's nearby land) and let me show you some of the sights in East Texas. Did I mention 4 wheelers, boat and lakes?
Right now the words, besides the danged heat, are cicadas, hummingbirds and "tree frogs". The cicadas reach a crescendo about sunset, just as the tree frogs start in. We have hundreds and hundreds of those frogs way up the tall oak trees that shade our house and lot. They start in about sunset and then slowly move from the top of the trees down towards the ground, getting ever louder and louder. The hummingbirds are around most hours of the day, but especially in the evening. Those little suc***s are quite territorial and constantly battle and chase each other away from the feeders.
When I say tree shaded lot, I mean that Google Earth doesn't even show our house - just the group of trees.
