could you hire a nurse to do IV vitamin C?

I would like to try intravenous vitamin C. However, there are no doctors that offer it in my area. The nearest one is a good long drive a way, and they want to charge $500 just for the initial consultation.

I am wondering if it's possible to hire a nurse privately to come to my house and administer IV vitamin C?

I live in Wisconsin, USA.

Anyone heard of this? Do you think a nurse would be willing to do this? Would I need to get a prescription from a doctor first?
