I am sure 99% of all people would think the number 108 to be a joke, I mean, who wouldn't in American especially.....

Today we needed to go to the county office of permits, etc....to get a paper to satisfie the power company so they could hook up an electrical box for us. We had put off doing this for over a year, because of all the hassles of dealing with the county and their enormous taxes/permits, etc..

Trent age 9 noted that his mom entered the county office at 1:08, the form had an identification number on the bottom of the page with the number 108 in it and the transaction went so smooth, the lady even faxed the forms for free to the electrical company and when asked how much we owed, they said NOTHING!

I know a lady that is having a barn built to replace one that burned down and the same county office charged her over $500 for the electrical permits

Almost daily we notice the number 108, why is just a mystery in life that makes life more interesting....we mortals may never understand such things.
