Re: vaccinations?

I'm looking for accurate info about vaccinations (for kids in particular). My kids have always followed the prescribed schedule, but I worry about the controversy that exists. I've just trusted my Dr. who says it's fine. Well, I'm getting a lot smarter now :) I question everything.

I'm reading a book called "How to Keep Your Child Healthy, In spite of Your Doctor." I'm on the immunization chapter and decided to ask the folks on this forum. My 4 kids are ages 3-14, so most of them have gone through the series, but there's still time for my youngest to back off from them. It scares me to death to put them at risk of serious disease, but what I'm reading about the risks of the shots is scaring me too. I read that the foreign proteins in the shots can trigger autoimmune diseases, which caught my eye since I have autoimmune issues these days.

What to do? I need TRUTH!

Vaccines have never been proven to work or to be safe.  I pulled up some of my old posts on the subject to start with:
