Re: Drinking Beetroot Juice May Help Lower Blood Pressure

Bought some Beets yesterday, and have been expermenting making raw smoothies.

The best so far:

16oz filtered water

1/2 beet [See below] **

2 celery stalks

1 Lge Carrot

4 or 5 Broccoli Florets

1/2 Jalapeno Pepper seeded

1/2 Avacodo with 1/2 of the seed [ Good Fibre]

Sm hand full of Pepitas

Sm Hand full sunflower seeds

Pinch of Sea Salt

Ground Black Pepper to taste.

1 tab o 550 MG Dulce [Optional]

** Online site suggested 1/2 beet per week to start as beets tend to detox well. I have been detoxing all along so I started with 1/2 beet each day with no problems yet. Drink plenty of water to help flush the body.

You will need a good blender 21/2 to 3 HP, or you will have to cut veg's smaller, and blend 2 or 3 times.

All organic foods right down to the Salt & Pepper.

Let me know what you think if you try this. Makes 2 12 to 14 oz glasses
