Re: heavy metal cleanse and Humaworm...

Hello HC

I hope that my post isent going to confuse or scare you, but I feel as if it would be irresponsible not to tell you about the less flattering aspects of cilantro detox.

While chlorella/cilantro can do alot of good for lightly toxic persons or/and persons with a low bodily sulphor content, it can also make a mess of others, me for one. I
also took one of these "cocktails" you described except for the lime-part. Got me quite sick for a couple of weeks or so. I guess what Im saying is that you should be aware of just how bad your detox symptoms is, while its normal to experience some discomfort, it shouldent smash you up completely, you wrote in your first post that you felt "beaten up" by this, and thats pretty much why Im replying :)

Cilantro is a brain chelator with a weak bond, and hence it shouldent be taken untill atleast 3 months after amalgam removal, since the body is already having to deal with the (small/yet significant enough) amounts of mercury that came out while you had your fillings removed.

I had my last filling removed a month ago, and is planning to do a month on humaworm, then follow the Andy Cutler protocol. In the begining I was very confussed as to what
method I should follow aswell. However, I think, what made it for me was the fact that no one seems to detoxify their mercury-autistic children on chlorella/cilantro, I had my fair share of browsing on the autism forums, and I dont think Id seen it mentioned even once. It seems like the most popular and successful choice for mercury-detox on
these boards is the AC protocol. Hence I asume it to be the safest.

Now, if you seem to cope better with the Cilantro/chlorella and want to stick with it, feel free to ignore my detox suggestions below. (atleast the DMSA/ALA part :) )

_____

"DMSA+ALA part"

-- DMSA picks up the mercury that is in the blood already, and chelate the body (not the brain) minorly. A good start-up dose of DMSA is 5mg, taken every 4th hour for 3 days, if this makes you feel "to bad" you can reduce it to 1mg every 4th hour. Most people can handle the 5mg though. Once your tolerance to the detox increases, you can add up to 10mg every 4th hour. Once you can handdle that 15mg...ect. A rule with the DMSA is that you should never take more than half your body weight in pounds. So if you
weigh 120 pounds the maximum amount of DMSA per 4th hour should be 60mg (360mg per day, remember this if you decide to take DMSA 8 times a day, instead of 6), Id personally
prefer going abit lower than that as a maximum, though. But then again, Im a over-cautious type O' person.

-- ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) Is a brain chelator and should not be taken, untill atleast 3 months after amalgam removal. Once you start up the ALA, take it every 3rd hour for 3 days along with the DMSA. Many people finds it to complicated to take the DMSA every 4th hour, and the ALA every 3rd. (You kno' alot of running, chimming and Stressin'). And therefore take both the ALA and DMSA together every 3rd hour, for 3 days. Once you're comfortable enough with a dose of 15mg DMSA every 4th hour, try taking 15mg of DMSA every 3rd hour instead, that would be the same daily dosis as taking 20mg every 4th hour would have been. Then add in 5mg of ALA per 3rd hour to take along with the DMSA. If you feel that this is making you ill, wait abit with introducing the ALA again, or cut it down to only 1mg. Ultimativly, once you worked yourself enough up into handling "the rounds" the relation between ALA:DMSA could be anything from 1:2 and 1:1

About dividing tablets: try ordering the veggie capsules versions of DMSA/ALA since its much easier to divide the powder withinn those, than chopping, hacking and slashing your way through mitril-like tablets.

The reasons for taking these remedies timed, is to keep to blood levels constant and avoid a mercury dump. So IT IS important to wake up at nighttime also. :(

After the 3 days are over you'll need a rest period of 3 days, or more. Id personally take atleast 7 days of rest, though. If youre very toxic or have a job you need to attend to, you might not be wanting to do this to fast, hence you might need a resting period of 11 days or more, whatever "feels" right.

"Suppliment part"

-- The best thing to do, is properly getting a hair sample taken since it can give you an overview of what mineral deficiencies youre dealing with. There not 100% precise as
they only measures whats been in your blood for the last couple of months, not the tissue. Sometimes having alot of one particular mineral in your hair sample can actually be taken as signs of a bad deficiency, not sure how that is to be honest, but it is... Generally hair samples can paint out a a pretty good picture though.

Here is what, properly ALL mercury toxic people should be taking daily, at the least:

-Zinc 30mg
-(organic) Selenium 100mg
-Vitamin E 30mg
-Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 500mg-2000mg (dosis can be divided to 3-4 times a'day to relieve mercury symptoms better)
-Molybdenum 150mcg-500mcg (though some say as high as 1000mcg)
-A good vitamin B complex, recomended dosis
-Mercury free fish oil, recomended dosis
-Drinking white/green tea also gives you some well needed antioxidants.
-Drink plenty o' water.
-Magnesium, just a normal dosis, more if you're deficient.

It is, however normal, to have alot of other deficiencies/abnormal levels aswell. Since Mercury is severely messing with your minerals. Per instance I also had BAD chromium, manganese, magnesium and iron deficiencies. To be honest, there was only 3 of my 15
measured minerals that where withinn the "normal" boundaries. Despite the fact that I've taken mineral/vitamin suppliments in the past and eats as healthy as a druid...

Whatever you do, I wish you the best of health and luck with it. I truly hope I havent confussed you furtherly, or put you off chelating, since that reallyreallyreally wasent my intention.
