Raw Noodles a la Pepe

Hey some of you know I'm trying to go  high  raw and I'm having a blast learning recipes and creating raw dishes. So far so good it's been 3 or 4 weeks and I've managed 95% raw. I'm not busy at the moment so we'll see how it goes when things get busier. I don't expect to drop below 80% even when I get busier.

Today I came up with my own recipe that blew my mind and taste buds. It was so dam good I just wanted to share with everyone.

Part of why many fail on the raw diet is because they can't figure out what to make and have variety. Well folks there are just so many different things you can make if you just put a little effort into doing a little research. YouTube alone has a plethora of raw recipes which makes it kinda cool since you get to somewhat relate to the people on the videos and it's not just some impersonal type on the screen. As you get started you can follow the recipes and once you get in the groove and experience some of the many things you can do you will intuitively start coming up with your own recipes as I did or variations of the ones you originally followed.

I took a Zucchini and using my hand peeler just made long thin slices lengthwise . I then took those slices and cut them into fettuccine sized strips  Did the same with carrots but about 1/3 the volume of the zucchini. There is a hand cranked kitchen gizmo that will do thisf much easier and quicker so I'm gonna hafta get one. The noddle part is not new but the sauce I created just from my intuition. It would be mucho cool if more folks posted their raw recipes on Curezone.

Da sauce

2 or 3 roma tomatoes
1/2 seeded yellow pepper
3 or 4 garlic cloves ( I love garlic)
one celery stalk
1 or 2 handfuls of sunflower seeds
fresh parley          (bout a fingers width at the stalks)
fresh cilantro            "               "                "            "     "            "
Celtic Sea salt
oregano
thyme
fresh cracked black pepper
2 or 3 Tbsp of virgin olive oil

Put all of the above in the food  processor or a blender and blend  to a consistency you like.
Between the olive oil and the sunflowers seeds it makes a nice creamy texture. I like the food processor better cause it won't liquify it as much and I like the little bit of texture.

Put the zucchini/carrot "noddles" on a plate and pour the "sauce" over it. Garnish with chopped cilantro and  parsley.  Put some avocado slices on the side with a drizzle of olive oil and a touch of sea salt and Voila! Raw noodles a la Pepe. Seriously ya'll  this is just so damn good.

The recipe above makes about 2 servings.

Bon appetit mes  amis
