What shall I do to be saved?
The first thing Jesus said we must do to be saved is to keep the ten commandments, Luke 18:20.
Then Jesus goes on to say that keeping the law is just part of it.
Jesus said we must give up the life we now have and follow Him in His ways, Luke 18:22
