diarrhea

It could be anything without a proper diagnosis.

What is your diet like, what do you eat regularly, have you eaten anything different recently or within a few weeks?

Have you taken any Antibiotics within the year?

Did you travel to another country at all?

Do you have any history of diarrhea?

I would eat easy to digest foods like more steamed veggies and few fruits. Forget milk products and avoid gluten. The fruits and veggies might make the diarrhea worse due to easy digestion, so you could try the BRAT diet. It is Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. Avoid the toast, gluten. Try to make your own applesauce from fresh apples. The pectin in the applesauce increases viscosity and the volume of stool.

A red flag is the slimy description, it could be mucus.

Continue to pay close attention to your bowel movements and perhaps make a journal of your observations of the stool, date, time, and food intake to share with a doctor.

The food journal is most important to track trends in certain foods that may be causing the diarrhea.
