Most are destroyed by ozone, they don't stay effective too long in air.

Boron, Borax will bind to the stuff inside the body the only other issue is the cluster Benzene forms with Polonium to trigger cancer.

But Baking Soda with Maple Syrup or Malt will shake that loose in one or two doses:
