Re: acute pancreatitis
Fatty foods and alcohol are very hard on the pancreas. Fatty foods also cause issues for the gallbladder. The idea the
Gallstones cause pancreatitis is an easy out for the doctors, but in reality it isn't really the cause. Yes, it is possible for a gallstone to exit the gallbladder and roll down the biliary duct partway and stop, and it is possible that it just happens to stop at exactly where the pancreatic biliary duct attaches to the common biliary duct. That is why after a significant case of acute pancreatitis that they remove the gallbladder so just in case a gallstone would exit the gallbladder, it won't stop at exactly the spot required to cause blockage of the pancreatic duct. But in reality, pancreatitis is caused by what you eat, or parasites, or viral infection of the pancreas, or having had severe mumps, or, the touted most common cause, is heavy alcohol drinking. Since your gall bladder has been removed, fatty foods should NEVER enter your mouth again as they require a strong response of bile from the gallbladder to emulsify them and your body now has no way of doing that. Consumption of alcohol has nothing to do with a gallbladder as it is inverse
Sugar and it has everything to do with your pancreas.
