Vegan caps Vs Gelatin Caps.

I have a question for those who fill their own capsules.. I've been using vegan caps...the first one I tried was V-caps from Solaray and I felt the cap shells were kind of sturdy, but the second time I bought NOW foods V-caps from iherbs.....I feel they are a little too delicate and is harder to fill. I'm finding this to be a chore.

Are gel caps OK? I have never tried them and I know they are less expensive than the Vcaps. Would that be easier to fill than V-caps?
