Re: alternative cures for cancer

Hi Joyce

Your frustration is very understandable. There is so much alternatives and options out there and you just do not know which.

Do bear in mind that each and everyone of us is a distinct individual and what may work for one may not work for another! Furthermore, it also depends on the type of cancer, the severity, the stage and also your overall history and condition. I am not sure if reading alone is sufficient to treat this terrible affliction.

I am aware though that a combination of probiotics (since it boosts the immune system and puts the digestive system in good order) and mushrooms can help. The probiotics make sure that the mushrooms taken would be absorbed by the GI tract. As you might know, mushrooms have been used in the East for thousand of years and often to treat tumour and cancer. A blend of the different selected potent mushrooms would be good, such as, maitake, shiitake, oyster, reishi, yun zhi, cauliflower, wood ear or black fungus, himmenmatustake, etc. - all common names.

Mushrooms have a high percentage of polysaccharide compound called beta-glucan. It is the active ingredient for stimulating or regulating the cellular immune system which will then stimulate the various immune cells such as T-cells and Macrophage. These are the main cells in the body that will counteract tumour cells without damaging normal healthy cells.

These mushrooms too is rich in Vitamin B complex, C, D, as well as minerals such as niacin, magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, copper, beta-carotene, amino acids and enzymes.

If you go to the Internet and search for mushrooms you would find lots of information. I have known cases of early stage cancer in a healthy person being properly treated - remission. There has been cases too of 2nd stage lung cancer patients that have lived longer with a better quality of life, though not cured.

The mushrooms and probiotics too assist in negating the very unpleasant side effects of chemo!

Hope the info is useful. Take care n I hope you find what you are looking for soon, keep well!
