Small bright dots and floaters
I'm a 28 years old girl and i have always had floaters. Nothing that really bothered me just some "worm shaped" transparent things, and some that look like a cell, when i look at something bright.
But now i'm really worried because i'm seeing some bright dots . Sometimes just a tiny bright dot, sometimes it looks like when you look into a bright light and the image is kind of "stained" in the vision (don't know how else to explain) and sometimes is a little dark spot with an "bright aura" It doesn't last long, about 1 to 5 seconds and it's not related with light, it comes up when its bright, in the dark, even with my eyes closed. Don't really know if its in both eyes because since it appears with my eyes closed, when i close one eye to check, its still there. Its always in the central area of my vision.
I do have a slight pain in my brow area (more specifically the inner part)and sometimes in my cheekbone (between my cheeckbone and my nose)so i'm guessing maybe sinusitis. Sometimes i have frontal headache
None of that really bothers me, what really bothers me is the thought of having vitreous/retinal detachment and losing my sight. I know, disease freak, hypocondriac, all of that, but whenever i read "retinal detachment" as a diagnosis for bright spots i realy freak out.
So what do you think? Ocular migraine, just some eyefloaters, sinus infection or something more serious?
Please reply, because i'm freaking out! LOL!
