Theoretically... yes.

In practice? Cats are picky eaters. Can't exactly feed them a complete diet if they only ever eat salmon and raw cucumbers, and just ignore whatever else you give them, even for days at a time, just wandering around and loudly meowing out their complaints.

BACK TO THE TOPIC, THOUGH - I was actually viewing premium cat food in the sense of a product that alone can sustain life&health by providing all a body needs. We seem to struggle with finding a mix of foods that does that for us, yet remains high-protein, low-carb.
