Re: nutritional yeast

Is nutritional yeast a acid problem?I have read where it takes very little to raise uric acid levels. Is this true?

Yeasts can raise acid levels as can algaes, meats, beans, alcohols, etc.  Uric acid is even generated as our bodies break down their own cells through disease or even recycling.  So we are constantly producing uric acid.  It rarely builds up to problematic levels in the body though.
