I was diagnosed as a child and my parents were able to carry life insurance on me. I also had no trouble now as an adult applying for it. They need to give him some type of explanation. Make sure it was put in as Gilberts and not Guillain-Barré. Yes sounds completely different but for some reason every time I see a new doctor and tell them I have Gilberts Disease/Syndrome they instantly think of Guillain-Barré. Tweet
