Armpit Burns from Deodorant
Yesterday for the second time in about 6 to 8 months, something I was using for deodorant and caused severe chemical burn! My armpits both have a large red burn on them that hurts like the dickens! Like they are severely sunburned.
I have not recently changed deodorants either. Just got out of the shower like normal and sprayed it on, then BAM, BURNED!!!! I washed it off gently, then applies some aloe vera from my plant. It helped a bit but not enough to stop the red or the pain. Then I found some A&D ointment for diaper rash with zinc and applied that. This morning I put more of the ointment on and then some baking soda so I wouldn't be sticky.
Here's the ingredients to the deodorant I've been using for several months:
Herbal Deodorant with oil of sage
This natural herbal deodorant allows the body to sweat, which is a natural cleansing process necessary to release toxins. Our essential oil blend of sage, lemon and lavender minimizes and neutralizes odors naturally.
Ingredients: SD alcohol 40-B, water, salvia officinalis (sage) oil, lavandin oil, citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel oil.
Also this one:
Ingredients: Propulene glycol, water, sodium stearate, organic aloe vera (aloe barbadensis) leaf juice, witch hazel (hamamelis virginiana) water, glyceryl laurate, calendula fragrance, chammomile (chamomilla recutita) aqueous extract, hop (humulus lupulus) extract {Co2}, caprylic/capric triglyceriide, ascorbic acid, silica shells and organic lemongrass (cymbopogon schoenanthus) oil.
This is from when it happened before: http://www.curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1528528#i
Any connections? I basically have never had any reactions of allergies or sensitivities to things ... at least that I've been aware of.
Thanks for any help in solving this puzzle!
