Malic acid vs. Apples. Is one better?

I am about to embark on my fourth flush, and it has only been since the last one that I have intentionally been using apples to try to softer the stones. It was also in the last flush as well that I began to see significant results.

Knowing, or at least assuming that the malic acid in the apples contributed to the progress, I went out and ordered online some malic acid, 600 mg capsules, of which I have been taking one per day, for nine days now, either as a replacement for, or in addition to one apple per day.

Are there any veteran flushers out there that can comment on how much they use(d)?

There are other factors that may have contributed to the larger release, such as a strict diet, as in no fat or animal products on the day of the start of the flush, but I am interested in knowing if the malic acid is a major influence.

I have also been taking some Apple Cider Vinegar, and that has been a huge lung mucus expectorant (allergies right now) and I hear that it has some Liver Flush benefits as well. Can anyone comment on this as well, please?

Thanks
