My favorite Native American Indian song.....

This beautiful song was first sung to me by a young Cherokee man who was in the hospital (lying on his back in bed) drumming on the mattress with his open hands. (Try this while listening to this, it's fun)

He said his mother used to sing this to him, and she said it meant "When I see you, I see beauty, in your eyes, in your walk..." I can't remember the rest, but I think his mom made that up because it's supposed to mean this...
Freely translated: “A we n’” (I am), “de” (of), “Yauh” –the– (Great Spirit), “Ho” (it is so).
Written as: A we n’ de Yauh ho (I am of the Great Spirit, Ho!).”

Cherokee Morning Song.
