When I first started doing liver flushes, I did them by the book. The problems I had were throwing up the oo mixture and not sleeping all night (I need my sleep :-) ). I also have a really difficult time fasting after 2:00 pm. Now I do it in the morning. I take mag citrate around 7:00, then more around 9:00 and this time I drank coconut oil and a little pineapple juice (just for taste) around 10:00. I did go back to bed for about 1 1/2 hours and then took some more mag citrate (not sure what time). At about 3:30 I had a big bowl of ice cream (had a really strong craving and had read that it can be part of a flush). So far, this was my best flush ever. I think that you can tweak a lot of the components of Liver Flushes as long as you use some type of magnesium to relax everything and a good amount of fat.
