Here is how I keep my hyperthyroid symptoms under control - NO meds! These supplements were recommended to me by doctors for hyperthyroid and this combination of them WORKS!!!
L-Carnitine 500mg pills - take 3 500mg pills in the morning, and 3 500mg pills in the evening WITH food for a total of 6 500mg pills of L-Carnitine a day.
Magnesium - best kind is Magnesium Chloride. Buy the kind that comes in liquid form that you refrigerate. Take 2 teaspoons in a lot of water (the taste is less than desirable) in a glass of water 3X a day WITH food. Must take magnesium with food!
L-tryptophan - Please try a reputable brand and take 1 or 2 capsules if your really having bad heart palpitations/can't sleep. I only take Tryptophan if my symptoms are really bad. I do not take it every day because I really don't have to - this alleviates the problem and will make you absolutely exhausted!
