Too much protein in urine, from urinalysis test

Hello, About a month ago I had a regular urine test, which found there was protein in the urine. This past week, I used had a 24 hour urinalysis test. The results just came back today, and the levels were listed as high. I have contacted my general practitioner to have an appointment this week. The test results are listed below:

Protein Total, Qn 24 hour urine test
Protein, Total Urin Result: 30.5 Flag: High Units: mg/dL Reference Interval 0.0-15.0
Protein 24 hour calculated Result: 213.5 Flag: High Units: mg/24 hr Reference Interval: 30.0 - 150.0

Does anyone here have any advise, experience, or information regarding this problem? I am aware that it could be serious. Are there any natural remedies to cure this problem? What could have caused this problem? I am male, weigh around 135 lbs, and 5'8 tall.

I try to eat a healthy steady diet, low in sugars. Sometimes I do not eat regularly though. I do not believe I have celiacs disease (illergic to wheat), I try to avoid wheat when possible. I live near D.C. area and have city water. I filter it with a carbon block and ceramic filter. I am looking to buy either a water distiller or small Reverse osmosis unit in the near future. Hopefully the water did not cause this problem with my kidneys, but it could be one of the factors. There is flouride in the water here.
