The Republican party, of which she is a part, is currently skawking becuase Obama made them put all that money aside to help "the little people". They seem to think the li'l folk should go through the legal system before they get anything which, as we all know, could take years...

Obama can't stop this "spill". I rather doubt anyone can. (My how that word irritates me. You spill a glass of milk...a gushing, out of control oil well hardly constitutes a spill...but in all fairness, there really is no word to describe this monster that has been unleashed under the sea.)

But I do wish he had done something from day one on other then go and stand on a beach somewhere and hypothetically stamp his foot...like send the military in to help clean it up as it spills...offer jobs to the unemployed to clean it up, set up sancturies up and down the coast for displaced wildlife, (all paid for by BP) organize ALL of the experts all over the world to try and stop it...stuff like that.
