Iodine?
Has anyone on this forum really focused on
Iodine for fixing depression? I've looked at the posts for the last couple years and I don't see much listed.
I've been trying
Iodine for the last 3 months and I've had major improvements in my health. I've had hyperthyroid-type problems my entire adult life. Supplementing with
Iodine seems to have balanced my metabolism. I gained 10 - 15
lbs. in 3 months after not being able to get above 165
lbs. my whole life. Nothing short of miraculous for me.
I've been into alternative health for the last 10 years and nothing has come close to what iodine did for me.
In short, three medical doctors Abraham, Brownstein, and Flechas started something they called the Iodine Project. Brownstein has a video you can find on YouTube where he relates his findings that a test group of patients started excreting iodine substitutes like bromine, chlorine, and fluorine out of the body when given iodine.
One working theory is that fluorine accumulation in the pineal gland may be upsetting serotonin and melatonin levels in the body. These doctors think that these iodine substitutes get stuck in the body blocking thyroid receptor sites, etc. and the only way to get them out is to flush the body with iodine.
I've tried everything else out there I can think of. Iodine is an essential element for the body and if people are marginally deficient, these theories sound as good as anything I've come across. My brief experience with it so far certainly lends credibility to iodine.
