Now that you mention electrolyte replacement and post-flush weakness it reminds me of the people on the Coke flush who have reported a higher level of energy afterward and less depletion than when they were using the citrus method, one woman posting that by using the Coke flush she "wasn't dying of exhaustion the next day." Could it be that the Coke replenishes something that would otherwise be lost without it? I would have thought all that Sugar was energy-depleting, but it appears the opposite is true.
Also, people who turned to the Coke flush and stuck with it always seem to me to report more productive flushes, with more stones than seen before. All of this could make Coke/lemon the miracle flusher everyone's after. Too good to be true? Bear in mind that most Coke flushers don't seem to use any Epsom Salts which may account for their being less depleted. But some do, and also seem to have noticed the difference.
