A doctor's comments on liver flushing

Just wondering what anyone thinks of this. I recently told someone at work about Liver Flushing and that I was preparing to do it. Anyway, this same person has been experiencing pain for the first time ever and went to the doctor who said it might be her gallbladder. So she told him of me and the Liver Flushes and he told her flat out that it's not possible because people who have one stone come out are in so much agony that a whole bunch of them coming out is impossible. He told her that it's probably just the olive oil that's coming out, looking like stones.
Now I've heard that one before and I've also heard that they've actually tested the stones and they ARE stones. But what do you think of the idea that it would hurt so much to have stones come out? Why doesn't it then?
