Look closer...

alien core seems to be made of pigmented gels..
the same pigmented gels found in the morg lesions.
Only..instead of powering the construction of a few
white fibers...the more complex construct of the
"alien" resulted. There is much more going on here
than simple "hair/fiber" growth. Several distinct
"projects" are going on..at the same time.
