Re: Numb Skin... What Now?

Hi, Waterdesign!!
I am sending you good, good thoughts! I have 2 responses if you are interested on the numb skin thing. First, have you looked at an acupuncture chart and noticed what energetic meridians of the body are within the numb skin areas? If you look up and tell me, I can tell you what emotions are housed within these areas, which might be of interest. & the organs associated with the numb skin areas will be evident as all the meridians have organ names (liver meridian etc. i am sure you know) & acupuncture itself might be a thought , too, though some practitioners in my experience are not friendly to fasting - so go prepared. My other thought is just maybe silly but -- get a massage? or some reiki or other subtle-energy balancing work?? ... finally ... how's the ol' elimination process... any bowel movement? That's a cure-all for me... Sometimes to stimulate bowel movement - massage the shins on either side of the tibia (front lower leg bone). Also (carefully, for dizziness) : squat; clasp your knees; raise your bottom up while keeping your head down. (repeat) And by the way: a trick that always has worked for me for lightheadedness: just pucker up like you are going to whistle and blow out all your air as long as you can through your mouth (relatively slowly but not trying to slow down the out-breath except by narrowing the lip aperture. ... this just works so well for me, maybe for you , too. Breathe in through the nose. Also: left -nostril-only breathing is calming. Inhale and exhale through the left nostril only (block right nostril ** with right thumb**). Stops hyperventilation. I mention all this in relation to numbness because I have gotten huge numbness /tingling episodes , in fact temporary paralysis, purely from hyperventilation... which itself was triggered by things I ate. Notably viscous foods. These would coat the lining of the intestines/cause bacterial growth. The breath and the large intestine are very closely linked, it seems to me. I used to be unable to eat avocadoes for instance or risk this paralysis/numbness/tingling. I still don't like to have to resort to avocadoes. I am starting my fast , re-starting it, I mean, right now, and I ate an avocado/acid fruit combination I like I told you about and the avocado & the acid fruit too for that matter was of inferior quality and I am feeling a bit of the numbness/tingling hyperventilation -- when I was anticipating instead a nice, fast-easing bowel movement. Ugh. I will just have to do an enema, I guess. Ok. By the way I did well today by not overdoing the food in anticipation of the fast; and my fast is now begun; all I have to do is buy salt for enemas and make a plan for each day. I will do at least 7 days. Well, I hope you are very well. Best wishes to you and let us know how things turn out. Bravo on sticking to broth!!!! I've just had my last clove of garlic. Powerray.
