I know you see it as attacks on you when actually it was support, encouraging you to be careful.
As to "weak mindedness" creating a self fulfilling prophesy of weakness upon emerging too quickly, when i had a half handful of raisons 24 hours after breaking my 30 day fast, i truly believed my body was telling me it wanted these and that they would not have a negative effect on me. Unfortunately believing that and "thinking positive" didn't keep me from laying down sick for the next 24 hours wishing to God i had not done that.
People in this forum really do have a lot of experience (as did Dr. Shelton) and in comparing your experience to that of the majority of others, you really have been able to break your fast more aggressively than most. Look at WaterDesign's experience if you need an example of how the body can respond when a long fast is not broken with the most extreme of caution. In fact hers has been broken with considerably more caution than yours, but she has suffered substantial ill effects while you haven't. In a forum such as this, advice is based upon what is likely to happen and most people breaking a fast as you did would suffer ill effects.
Out of curiousity, were you taking anything besides pure water in your fast? Vitamins? minerals? tea? Lemon? If so that could account for the boldness of your digestive system, never having had a chance to go deep into slumber.
