you will read that transfection is done by applying electroporation, involving VERY HIGH voltages.

Electroporation word was wrongly used by Bob Beck to explain a magnification of inter-cellular activity, permitting the easier absorption of substances in transit in our body (Medicines, drugs, herbs extracts, …)
Some publicity is wrongly using electroporation to give you the feeling that their unit is the “ultimate one” . Read this interesting note :

This “magnification” sometimes happens, and you should be aware of it when using electro-medicine. I find the use of Transfection and electroporation exaggerated, in the use of a zapper.

Note : Most zappers having working frequencies well over 4Hz, this question is of relative importance.

Yes, I have tried the last version of the Bec’s blood purifier. Being in (relative) good health, I found its use similar or better to the Clark’s zapper, when using the Beck’s zappers electrodes on the wrist, and aiming at the blood stream.

I found too that Clark’s zapper effect was much “wider” and producing more Herx reactions, with the big copper tubes.

Using Beck’s zapper with copper tubes is an interesting TINGLING experience, most users dislike.

Some people like Bob Beck’s devices very much, and no doubt, they are effective.
My experience (and personal health condition) makes me prefer Clark’s zappers for most uses, as a more easy to use and effective enough device for MY NEEDS (yours can be different).
Being widely used and manufactured, you can have very good units at reasonable prices (well under the $100 tag), for a basic unit.

About your mentioned site “Altered States”, I never hear about them until now, but I’m happy to know them. Thanks. I don’t know their products, so I can’t say much about them.

Note for everyone new in this filed : When beginning using a two wheel vehicle, it is wise to start with a bicycle (basic unit) instead of a top of the line 1200cc racing bike (whatever the brand) There is a difference in the price (:-) and a lot to learn anyway with the "basic unit"
