Animal studies: naturals that work and/or are synergistic with meds

You can look these up at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/

Here are a few that at least have been shown to work in animals:
1. Curcumin (use hi-absorption version)
2. EGCG (green tea extract)
3. Allicin (from garlic)
4. Glycerol monolaurate (i.e. monolaurin - from coconut oil)
5. Berberine
6. Fulvic acid
7. Grape seed extract (grape NOT grapefruit)

I wish more animal studies would be done... it is important to know what actually helps as there are now 362 natural candida infection remedies sold on Amazon alone.

By comparison, the incurable viral disease, herpes, has only 161 remedies. Tuberculosis (usually curable) has just 36 remedies marketed. So that would suggest that candida infection is a more significant U.S. public health problem than herpes and tuberculosis combined otherwise who is buying all these products?
