Re: 1848-"The day of retribution will come."
Certainly, I would not disparage the ability
of Mexicans to educate themselves as I have
met too many educated and well spoken Mexicans
to think otherwise. Likewise, many Mexicans
since 1848 have immigrated to the country
that was victorious in claiming lands they
formerly lived in and claimed as Mexican land.
They have even fought in wars and claimed
the title of Americans for themselves. This
is different from what is happening now where
Mexicans are invading as Mexicans and not
immigrating here as potential Americans. I
lay blame for this tide of political blundering
on the government and greed. There appears NO
will to secure our borders.
My own grandparents immigrated from lands
during war times and came here, assimilated
and raised families. My brothers and Uncles
and cousins fought for this country as
Americans. These are now times for Americans
to speak and stand up as Americans for our
country. This is the time for difficult
choices and defending the Constitution.
It is no longer 1848...when retribution comes
it will be because in these times, the 21st
Century, love of country and patriotism
have been diminished by illegal immigration
and global strategies to destroy the sovereignty
of nations.
Here is a quote I read today which reflects
the trends of our country~~
"Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality" - Michael Ellner
I would add to this quote the notion that being
an American is becoming UNAmerican...
