Why not everybody who take a lot of Antibiotics develop candida???

I think you missed some things important... in 2009 a gene mutation was discovered called Dectin-1 Y238X. Google it. An estimated 3 - 7% of population have this mutation which means they are missing Dectin-1 and at at a molecular level their immune system cannot recognize and kill candida in the normal way. It has been proven that humans with this gene mutation get much more severe candida infections than normal people after their immune system is suppressed. Mice that are missing Dectin-1 get several orders of magnitude more candida in their GI tracts than normal mice when given the same amount of candida by mouth.

No doubt this is just one gene defect, and there are many others not yet discovered.

If you have this or similar gene defect it is inherited from parents and there is nothing that can be done to correct it in the way of drugs, diet, supplements or any medical procedure. Medicine has nothing for this except to treat the symptoms with antifungals which should be done.

If one has candida infection of skin and.or mucous membrane for more than one year its called chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis - CMC -and without proper treatment will tend to get worse over time as happened to this woman.

It is documented in medical literature that CMC infection & symptoms is not always present from birth (although gene defect may be) but that CMC can start at any age and furthermore often starts after Antibiotic treatment. This has been known for 30 years and yet still no warning label on Antibiotics or package insert.

It is entirely possible that a person may have had gene defect but if they never took much Antibiotics they could their whole life without getting sick from it (e.g. if they were born in 19th century/eraly 20th century). So grandparents may have been healthy.
