If you go to the1 quart coffee retention enema it is not the same as a small 1 or 2 cup enema. A 1 quart enema goes usually higher that the rectum and the sigmoid section of the large intestine. It can go up to the transverse section. Often this will cause the coffee to go into your circulation and you could feel the buzz that you would get when you drink coffee.

Also when I take the 1 quart enema I try to retain it for 20 minutes. So I do not save much time. I only the 1 quart coffee retention enema when I feel “toxic” usually from overindulgence in eating. And also I add 1 ½ teaspoons of Epsom salts to the `1 quart solution.
