Re: Bubbles in Urine...Should i be concerned?

I don't see the castor oil pack as something recommended; but 'done is done'. The reason being, it is a powerful DEEP cleanser/healer in itself, and the body is already doing its utmost.

In my experience, coconut oil is really helpful in the WF.

And in my recent longish one, I had a lot of dry itching, along the shins and at the lower back. I would have likely scratched myself raw had I not had some coconut oil to rub in. I don't use lotion, only coconut oil, and sometimes olive oil. My favorite is pure cocoa butter but it's a little pricey. Those were smells that never bothered me, throughout the fast.

And if I were near the ocean, I'd probably swim too! or as some creative hygienist masters advocated, (forget their names), sail around near shore in a little blow-up boat, with my feet and hands trailing in the water. (Not at the height of noon, but in what's called the 'safe time' for sunning, from 2-5 PM. That would be the ideal, for me...and then drifting back to my little hut, and collapsing in the shade, listening to only the sounds of birdcall and leaf rustle, and the occasional breeze through bamboo chimes.

And smelling lemon blossoms on a tree a few metres away.
I feel whatever you put on your body -during a fast- ought to be very pure. One ingredient only. In a bath, you can just add a spoonful of good coconut oil, near the end, and it thinly coats the body as you rise, without any effort on your part. Of course, you must be careful afterward, because the tub will be slippery. Bathing becomes a major event for menay people, and needs all one's awareness, and care. It would take a lot of energy to clean the tub, if you were into the third, fourth or fifth week of fasting.

But as far as the 'feeding the body' aspect, I tend to feel it's not really an intrusion. The reason I like the coconut oil is that it is anti-fungal, antiseptic, and just generally, wonderful. :-)

All things coconut are good. After the fast, pure young coconut water is an almost perfect food...
