Over the years, I met with a few of the directors of these Mexican cancer clinics. I also spoke with quite a few of the patients who attended these programs.

Overall, I think they are very, very expensive for what you actually get. But much of this comes down to your peace of mind. If you feel you need staff, doctors, therapies, food to take of yourself and your are financially able...by all means consider going.

About 20 years ago, the doctors I knew who used to run these clinics did quite a bit of emotional/spiritual work with the individual patients. But since they have died, sons and other family members have taken over and they are not as caring in my opinion.

You can meet some of these directors at conferences like in Los Angeles. That's a good place to chat with many of them.
